A solitary trip

After a really long time I took a trip with my maternal family without my husband and kids.It was a poonal of my cousin's son at Hyderabad.Though initially i had worried about how my husband will take care and manage the kids meals and getting ready for the school,I decided to go for the trip.I packed for myself alone and it got over in 10 mins:).I was feeling free and quite adventurous.

Every holiday trip needs packing for all four of us and travelling alone sounded so simple.The trip and the function went on great with super planning and lots of photos.I was free most of the time.Getting ready on time was a piece of cake.

If I hadn't quit my job with TCS i think I would have taken such solitary trips often.But this was a great break and a good change from the routine.It will be etched in my memory forever.One major thing i learnt from the trip is things will happen automatically even when you are not around and No one is dependent on anyone for anything.
