My space,self love and My favorite dish

Today while was speaking to my Amma she was mentioning about an Facebook post on a lady who after marriage stopped eating kothavarakkai(cluster beans) as her husbands and kids didn't like it.

She had deep cravings for it and had the dish whenever she went to her parent's house.
This made me think and just realised I have stopped making my favourite brinjal curry as no one liked it in our house.Made an effort  today to cook and eat it just for myself.
Sometimes self love means making something for yourself and eating it.
Now the recipe for my favourite brinjal curry
Requirements:
 Fresh Brinjal 200 gm
Onion 1 big
Garlic 2 pods
Chilli powder
Turmeric powder leaves 1 spring
Oil  3 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Salt as needed.

Now the mouth watering recipe.
Heat oil in kadai
Add mustard seeds and wait till it splutter.Add curry leaves and then add onion and garlic ..saute and feel the nice smell.After onion changes colour and becomes transperant add cut brinjal.Add turmeric powder and salt.Let it cook.
Excitement and slurping of tongue detected in me as i have cravings for it.
After it has cooked add chilli powder saute nicely and transfer it to another container.The dish is ready.Can serve one person (that's Mee))with hot rice  or with rasam:)
